Husk from a beautiful Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite that had a simple glue-and-clamp headstock repair back in 1994. It's held up fine with no issues since then. The neck is straight and it's ready for Gibson spec parts for an issue-free build. The repair needed no finish work.. the faux-binding and burst at the neck heel are just cool features of this finish. Includes the body/neck husk, a truss rod tool and the professional luthier's repair letter from '94.

Ebony fretboard and polished frets with minimal wear. The nut slots are a good height.. I remember there wasn't any buzzing for open strings at the first fret unless I had the neck perfectly straight. It had minimal fret buzz when set up with 10s and slight relief. I don't know if it's ever had a string gauge heavier than 10s so I can't guarantee function if you want to tune to standard with 11s or heavier, but the repair has held for more than thirty years. It looks like it was done well with minimal glue seepage as shown by the black light photos.

The guitar weighed 7.5 lbs whole and is now 5.5 lbs as a husk. The neck measures .78" at the first fret and .89" at the 12th. It has a two piece maple top and one piece mahogany back. This model is called 'Lite' because Gibson chambered part of the guitar and replaced with a lightweight wood (visible in the husk's pickup cavities), so it was technically more of a 'solid' guitar than the 9-hole Standards of the time. There's very little wear to the top besides some light scratches. There are some small dings at the sides/edges as well as some scratching towards the bottom section of the one-piece mahogany back. I included pictures of the most noticeable wear. The back of the neck has minimal wear besides the headstock repair. This one doesn't have the noticeable 'shelf' where the ebony board meets mahogany and the neck has nice figuring for mahogany. The husk is clean and glossy... no gunk or odors.
