Up for sale is this great example of a 2023 Gibson R8 Les Paul w/ OHSC!
This Les Paul has a few quirks that price it a bit better than other listed examples! The was finish touch up near the arm rest area on the top, and close to the binding. A SMALL piece of finish had flaked off and was professionally color matched by a local luthier. It’s fairly hard to see if you’re not looking for it, and it’s flush with the rest of the finish! About an inch length of binding was lightly shaved down during the process but is fairly hard to notice. But, it’s there so we’re going to describe it accurately!
Aside from the finish touch up mentioned above, the body is in great shape! The VOS finish looks phenomenal and sometimes I’m a sucker for a plain top if it’s the right color! This is in fact, the right color. All Components on this R8 look to be original from the factory! That includes all hardware, plastics, electronics etc!
Neck is a chunky 58’ Profile which is very comfortable! Frets are in good shape and have very minor wear! Headstock is sporting a vintage style serial number that corresponds with the COA included!
Weight comes in at an IMPRESSIVE 8 Lbs and 6 Ounces!
Comes with all case candy, COA, and hardshell case!
