Note: See short video in gallery showing how I pack a guitar. I set myself apart with my SETUPS and PACKING. I include setup sheet with each guitar.

You're looking at a 1995 American Standard Fender GC-1 Roland Ready Stratocaster in Lipstick Red finish. These are extremely rare models, as Fender made a small number in the USA before they switched production to Mexico in 1997, so 99.9% of GC-1s you see are Mexican. Weight is 8 pounds, 3 ounces.

Some of the differences from the Mexico model beyond overall build quality, are:

-- factory hard case

-- 2-point tremolo with block style saddles

-- Micro-Tilt neck adjustment, spaghetti logo on headstock

-- no-load tone control, and hotter output ceramic pickups

But basically it’s very close in features to the Mexican one. Biggest difference is its specs are like that of any other American Strat of its day, so yea, you can feel the quality difference. On the Lipstick Red color, see the screenshot in gallery from Fender website that says "AM STD STRAT GR RDY MN LPR," which translates to "American Standard Strat GR Ready Maple Neck Lipstick Red."

You are probably aware these play like a normal Strat but with the added bonus of a 13-pin jack that enables you to connect via MIDI to many Roland effect units. This 31-year-vintage axe is very clean. No big dings or marks. Frets are in great condition. It is ready to go. The plastic housing on the 13-pin jack is cracked and has one screw missing but I've tested it with my cable and Roland synth unit and it works without a hitch.

Comes with fitted Fender hard case and tremolo bar, plus paperwork, including original hangtag. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks for looking! (see video in picture gallery that shows how I pack a guitar)

Recent Review:
"Guitar was packed perfectly for shipping. Everything arrived exactly as described. A lot of care and attention was put into the setup (intonation is perfect). Seller was nice enough to include some extras. Excellent seller! Thank you so much!"

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!

Packing
Search "How to Pack a Guitar + Hot Girls" on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. You can also read my packing blog post on my StillKickinMusic website. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.

International
Please note, on Reverb, I ship to USA and Canada only. On eBay I ship worldwide with eBay International, which has the best pricing. cheers
