Here's a very clean Leedy 5x14" Shelly Manne model snare drum! An under-appreciated contender with other drum companies of its time's chrome over brass models (and a very close sibling to the Slingerland Sound King), the Shelly Manne is a snappy brass drum with a reliable 3-point throw. This one has some light cosmetic wear and scratches in the surface of its chrome finish as well as 3 initials in the batter side hoop (pictured), but is overall nicely polished and very smoothly functional. Currently outfitted with a used coated Controlled Sound over an Ambassador snare side with Canopus wires.
