1980 Hamer Sunburst Bound & Crowned – Serial #02323 – Original Case – Collector Grade

Up for sale is an original 1980 Hamer Sunburst Bound & Crowned, serial number 02323. This is one of the early serial number guitars from Hamer’s first years of production and is an outstanding collector example.

The guitar retains its original finish, original electronics, original Schaller tuners, original hardware, and original hard shell case. The flame maple top is exceptionally attractive, with beautiful bookmatched figuring and a classic vintage sunburst finish.

The guitar is in very nice vintage condition. It shows honest play wear consistent with a 46-year-old instrument, including light surface scratches, minor buckle wear, a few small edge dings, and one small finish chip near the output jack. There are no known headstock repairs, neck repairs, or refinishing.
