About this listing
The Precision Bass from the American Vintage Series has arrived. The American Vintage Series can be considered the origin of the current American Original Series; it was featured in the lineup as a premium model above the standard models for a long period, from 1982 to 2018. The model wefve received is a 2003 Precision Bass that reproduces the specifications of the 1962 model. Featuring an alder body finished in a three-color sunburst, a maple neck with a 7.25-inch radius rosewood fingerboard, a spaghetti logo on the headstock, a tortoiseshell-pattern pickguard, spiral bridge saddles, and 62 P-BASS Split Single Coil pickups, this model is meticulously crafted to reproduce not only the look but also the fine details and sound of the original. The body and neck show numerous areas of paint peeling and sanding marks caused by self-relic treatment, along with numerous scattered scratches and dents from use; the hardware has a dull appearance. The fingerboard has been corrected, and the neck has been re-notted and refretted; the original hard case is missing. Although it shows signs of use, it has been fully maintained and cleaned by our repair center, and playability is excellent.
