Tru-Fi The Newton 2025 - Gold

This is a really great sounding pedal. There’s no way this doesn't sound as good or better than the original. I am only selling to fund another purchase.

What is a Newton ? Well he is a half horse half human from the 1968 Hercules Cartoon I loved as a kid, he trotted around playing the pan flute so you MAY say he is a VINTAGE CENTAUR ! - ok ok ok !!!

The legend of the Centaur type pedal is legendary, but I wanted add some features with The Newton that allow you to tweak and debate over them for mmm a few nights !

On top there is a Centaur and Brown switch, the Brown gives it about 20% more gain which for me is crucial so I can do lead work with just this pedal if I want, not stacking which we know is great as well !

Inside I put some DIP switch's, one DIP is stock treble, the other is for a bit more bass and fullness. The other DIP is for DIODES - 1 Switch is stock 1n34A and yes I went down the rabbit hole chasing not just just crap diodes but THE old school big glass diode that are close to the originals ! #2 switch is NO Diode, which I really like with the top on Brown just really open and FAT, #3 Switch is Asymmetrical Silicon which gives you a sweeter bit mellower but biting tone. 

So there you have a BUNCH of choices to setup your Newton for either Clean Boost OR just flat out drive, mod sounds, stock sounds it is ALL in the Newton.
