Ceriatone 2202 Kit build with Upgrades and Mods
***Delivery Signature Required***
This amp started life as a Ceriatone 2202 kit build, which is a 20 watt take on a JCM 800. I've since upgraded the PT with a Heyboer 20 watt PT and a Hammond 4H choke. TAD Blackplate 6V6's and JJ 12AX7s. The first 2 preamp have 12VDC heaters powered from the SMPS I've added. I've also added a gain structure switch on the rear control panel and a FET boost circuit on the front control panel under the input jack. This amp can go from nice cleans to a gained up 800. This amp does have a hum that I cannot seem to track down. I've changed out the PT and upgraded the filter capictors but still no luck on tracking it down. I run a noise gate through the passive effects loop and the hum is no longer a problem. Because of that hum I am pricing this amp accordingly. The amp over all sounds great and has a lot a valuable upgrades. I have well over $1300 just in parts in this build. Sold AS-IS, As-Described, No Refunds. Thanks for looking!
