Cannonball Cannonball Big Bell “The Raven” Tenor Saxophone 2008-2009 - Matte Black

Selling my Cannonball Big Bell Series “The Raven” tenor saxophone, originally purchased new around 2008/2009. I played it semi‑regularly until 2016, and since then it has been stored safely in a smoke‑free, pet‑free, climate‑controlled home.

Condition Overview

This horn is in excellent cosmetic condition with only normal hairline scratches from regular handling. The matte black nickel finish is clean and even, the engraving is crisp, and there are no dents, dings, or structural issues anywhere on the body. Keywork appears straight and well‑aligned, and the tone holes look clean and level. Pads are visually healthy with no cracking or heavy discoloration, though the horn is untested and has not been serviced since 2016.

Necks

Includes both original Cannonball hard necks:

• Black nickel neck – Excellent condition, clean finish, no dents or corrosion.
• Silver‑colored neck – Light tarnish and finish wear consistent with age, but no dents or structural issues. Engraving remains sharp.

Case & Accessories

Comes with a WolfPak polyfoam tenor case featuring a deep blue interior. The case is clean, odor‑free, and fully functional with no fraying or damage. Also includes:

• Mouthpiece
• Ligature
• Neck strap

I no longer play and would like this horn to go to someone who will enjoy it.
