Metal fans will recognize the name Kerry King as being the legendary guitarist in the thrash metal band Slayer. The Kerry King Signature Beast V features neck--through body construction, B.C. Rich active humbudker pickups, Floyd Rose locking nut, Kahler Hybred tremolo, ebony fretboard, mahogany body with neck through construction, and B. C, Rich tuners. This guitar was signed by Kerry King himself, and is number 21.
When I tested this guitar, it was one of those that you don't want to put down. Impressive is the best word to describe it, the neck is so smooth it almost seems to play itself, and the body shape is very comfortable.
What was refurbished on this guitar?
The authorized refurbisher could find no issues, and all that was done was a setup. If there is any finish blemish on it no one has been able to find it, more likely this was an over stock item.
The pictures are the actual guitar that you will receive.

Why buy a refurbished guitar?
I specialize in manufacturer refurbished guitars and basses because I believe they are a tremendous value. These instruments have actually passed more quality tests than those that go straight from the manufacturer to a music store. These instruments do not have major flaws, they have had a minor issue such as a slight finish blemish or perhaps an electrical issue such as a loose solder joint. I buy my guitars and basses from the largest, and in my opinion the best, refurbishing center in the country located near Nashville. They are staffed with factory trained luthiers who take great pride in the products they put up for sale. Each instrument must pass 5 tests before it is released for sale. Some of the models are discontinued and have no issues at all. Each instrument is stamped used and issued a new serial number. This is to prevent unethical retailers from selling these instruments as new rather than refurbished, because a refurbished instrument does not carry the manufacturer warranty. I live close enough to Nashville that I travel to the factory and pick out my guitars myself. I play each one prior to listing it for sale. You can be assured if I would not be proud to give it as a gift, I will not take it.
Please email me with any questions you have, you will find that I give very detailed answers. I am a musician first, and that drives my choice of instruments to sell and the detail that I give in answering any questions.
Thanks for looking!
