Here’s an old Kay K300 from somewhere in the 50s. It was sold under the Orpheus name. All gold hardware and all original except for a changed pickguard. In good playing shape it would probably shine with a refret but the neck is still very playable with just a bit of buzz when you get to the very top of the neck. Very resonant (I’m assuming the body is chambered because it’s way too light to have that tiger maple all the way through). One of the tone controls acts as a volume which could be easily sorted out. I was told at least one of the pickups was rewound by Curtis Novak but not sure which. They both sound different and compliment each other well so I left them Asis. Comes with the original chipboard case that is rough but protects the guitar well. The guitar is VERY clean and shiny and shows very little wear. make sure to check out the video below to hear it rocking.
