Here’s a really nice tenor banjo made at some point in the 1920s. Pure jazz age kind of stuff. Vega made really nice banjos in this period and this one is pretty special. It’s been completely rebuilt and is solid as a rock with a new skin head that has been decorated with some cat art.
It does show It’s age here and there with some bumps and scrapes but it’s very clean. It does have some replaced hardware (I tried to point out the replaced screws in the pics) but it’s all period correct and solid as a rock. Make sure to check the video below to hear it rocking! It comes with a period case that fits it OK and is sort of heavy so that’s why the shipping is a bit high.
