Up for sale is a beautiful Ryoji Matsuoka No. 50 classical guitar, handcrafted in Japan during the golden era of Japanese classical guitar production.

Ryoji Matsuoka instruments have earned an excellent reputation among classical players for their impressive craftsmanship, strong projection, and warm, balanced tonal character. The No. 50 sits comfortably above entry-level offerings and represents the kind of quality that helped establish Japanese builders as serious competitors to their European counterparts during the 1970s.

This example has just been cleaned, restrung, and professionally set up here at the shop and is ready to be enjoyed immediately.

Condition is excellent overall, especially considering its age. The guitar presents beautifully with only light signs of normal use. The frets show virtually no wear and remain in outstanding condition. The neck feels great in hand, the tuners operate smoothly, and the guitar produces the rich, articulate voice that players seek from these vintage Japanese classical instruments.

The back and sides display attractive rosewood grain, while the top has aged into a lovely amber color that gives the instrument a classic, mature appearance.
