Washburn A20V Stage Series Electric Guitar in rare Black / Red Finish with original Washburn hard shell case.

Details (and bummer story):
A high school buddy brought this home with him when he discharged from the navy in the late 80s, and it was always his main squeeze. After he passed unexpectedly a few years back I picked it up as I wanted to get used, not just lost in the forest of used guitar land. After getting it cleaned up and having new frets installed, I have come to the realization that is simply too big for me to get comfortable with. So I've decided to put it out here in the hopes it can find a loving home.

The guitar has been well played and taken care of, but it is over 40 years old and has its share of dings, scratches and buckle rash. I've don't the best I can to capture everything in the pics, but there is not anything very significant that would impact playability. Frets are new and the hardware shows only very minor discoloration and is in great shape as pictured. The Wonderbar works great and holds tuning well, but could probably use adjustment by someone who knows how to make it sing. Electronics work as they should (basically a Les Paul layout with Push/Pull pots, the neck is straight and the truss rod operates as it should. Set-up with a fresh set of .009s.

The included original Washburn hard case is in good condition inside, but definitely a bit rough on the exterior. All latches, hinges & handle operate as they should. There are marks, scuffs and flaws here and there from moving it around over the years, but still a great original case.
