Shaftesbury 3400 LP Style Guitar - Matsumoko Made - Maxon and Bill Lawrence USA Humbucker Pickups - Nice Player - 1971

I am selling my Shaftesbury 3400 LP style guitar, distributed by Rose Morris from their London Shaftsebury show room and manufactured in Japan by Matsumoku. Rose Morris distributed a number of interesting guitars inspired by famous models and these Les Pauls were sold from 1969 until around 1974. The bolt on neck, binding and headstock logo size dates this from around 1971. 

Everything is original except for the knobs, a refret, and the neck pickup, which is a Bill Lawrence USA Humbucker. This is a nice playing and nice sounding guitar that comes in at around 9 pounds.

The neck is straight, with some slight relief, and the replaced frets are modern and medium sized. The finish is black polyester, the body has a few nicks and imperfections, especially on the back edges. The small pickguard is missing.
