The Satellite was my first offset design. Back in the early to mid 90’s I started to design and make guitars for some local Philly musicians. The Satellite was the one that most people ordered. The Mach IV and the Belvedere were available at the time but most people gravitated towards this model. Over time, however the Satellite cosmetics were softened and the design morphed into what we now know of as the Galaxie 4. As the Galaxie 4 became the flag ship, this fancier design kinda got forgotten about. Now the Satellite is back with its cool triangle inlay, multiple Mylar control plates and slim mini humbuckers. Warm, punchy and low action, the look and tone can’t be beat!
