Good day!! I am starting another fundraiser for my youth sports 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. As always, the condition of my gear is excellent to mint +++ unless otherwise stated. Apparently, some folks are using Reverb to scam people by saying they are donating the money or whatever else. That really makes me upset since I have been selling my gear collection off in pieces since 2017 to fund scholarships for athletes who cannot afford to pay, and once I started my non-profit, to raise funds since it is EXTREMELY difficult to convince donors that youth sports is a worthwhile cause. If you need validation of my orgs non-profit status, please let me know and I will send it over.
This listing is for a 2025 Hazelrigg Industries DNE-500 PWN Compressor. I have used it on a few vocal sessions and it makes things sound beautiful. VERY low hours on this piece. Once the fundraising is done, I will definitely be buying this unit again. Note that it was purchased brand new from Sweetwater, and I am happy to include the receipt upon request.
Everything I ship is packed with love and care. Please read the comments in my shop if you would like to learn more.

This is a description of the device from the Hazelrigg website:
The DNE gets its compression circuitry directly from the Hazelrigg Industries VNE and D.W. Fearn VT-7. Attack and release times have been optimized to simplify the user interface. The High Pass Filter (HPF) makes the compressor less reactive to low frequencies (for example, bass and kick).
Linking units require 500 series racks with a link option. Signal path utilizes input and output transformers and low-THD/high-gain solid state devices. Gain reduction is shown with LEDs.
User tips: The PWM methodology is capable of extremely fast attack and release times. When compressing bass-oriented instruments, it is possible to have audio artifacts when the release is set too fast. This is usually not an issue on program material.
When linking units, attack and release times will be averaged. Units do not have to be set exactly the same. However, keep in mind that if the threshold is not turned up on a DNE, the side chain won’t reference the audio passing through the unit, even though it may be compressing it if linked.
