.*************SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS/ I DO RECONE/COMPONENTS/REPAIR************************

I almost hate to do this, but up for grabs is my set of Community Light and Sound quad 8" CARBON FIBER wide range woofers, with two THROUGH the core co-axially mounted compression horn tweeters....
There are a LOT of possibilities with this QUAD!!!! ... it's actually a hex, since there are also two compression drivers involved
>>>>>   SALE!!! ...Grab them while you can, these are valuable, rare, and perform like there's no tomorrow....
With their huge, thick magnets and THICK iron pole plates, those large magnetic structures impose a really high flux density concentration onto the voice coil windings, which results in high efficiency, high output, higher power capacity, faster transient response, and over all more appealing performance..... and appealing these are!!!!!
I've been at it a long time, and this is the ONLY set like this I have ever seen...They were used in an ultra  high output/high fidelity Community Light and Sound monitoring Loudspeaker enclosure, so they HAD to be the best!!!
The tweeters, they are a true co-axially mounted, rear throat compression horn tweeter design.....
...These have a dedicated compression type diaphragm, which is ferro fluid loaded and cooled...  They 'fire' straight through the woofer's magnetic structure, and right into the horns that you see propagating directly into the room...
....I'd say cross these over between 2.5KHz and 5 KHz for the best results, fidelity, and increased power capacity...Each is FOUR Ohms!!!!
The woofers, now these are monsters for an 8" speaker.....  They look to have either a 2 1/2" or even 3" diameter voice coil......   The pictures make the front mounting gaskets look worse than it is...They operate flawlessly!!!
The cool thing about these, (((well, some MORE cool things, )))are that they have those large coils, a 200 watt rating, each is FOUR Ohms, a treated textile/high compliance spider assembly, perfect half roll surrounds, vented magnetic cores for coil cooling, and of course, the whole reason you're here- Kevlar and Carbon Fiber woven cones!!!!
Yep, these things sound AMAZING!!!!... AND- they're basically 'weather proof', so pro audio applications won't take their toll on these as with conventional materials exposed to the elements...
I do have one small thing to mention....I'm REALLY finicky myself, but one of the compression horns has a small chip in the interior, but you might not have even noticed it, since all I have over it, is a piece of black teflon tape.....I just wanted to mention that...
.........If there's ANYTHING to mention, I like to bring it up. I'm more concerned about making a customer for life over a fast buck any day.....It does NOT penetrate the horn, or hinder performance.....
I've had these a few years, and barely even used them... I had them in a small compact PA for music only (no live bands/bass/bass drums), for weddings/DJ/karaoke, and that sorta' thing, operating in a really small 2x8" enclosure, as the "tops" in a system with a dedicated monaural subwoofer/tapped horn, and the performance was STELLAR!!!
These four (six)loudspeakers operating in a compact mains/tops design is super smooth, compact, and provides high FIDELITY as well as high output, but in a small, tiny 2x8" enclosure, since the tweeters are incorporated into two of the speakers....I also will be listing the McCauley 15" subwoofer speaker that operated with these...
..........The 15" sub + (2) 2x8"/Co-ax is an awesome, light weight, easy to transport, easy to STORE, compact tiny system......The tops stored inside of the bass horn's mouth!!!
..I just don't know what else to say, except grab them NOW, before even a "Reverb Employee "  sees these!!!(((((heeeeee!))
.....  All SIX speakers in this listing operates properly, and without any rubbing, buzzing, holes, rips, tears, rot, or adhesive failures- they work just peachy!!!!

.........I apologize for the shipping cost, but we're looking at around 30-40 pounds of "AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!"

So, if you need some really COOL 8" co-axial Kevlar/Carbon fiber woven speakers, for either Hi-Fi projects, stereo speakers, surround speakers, monitors, automotive, even compact PA applications, then here ya' go!!!

make me an offer- you never know!!!!!!

   THANKS GUYS!!!!

    Sincerely,-
   Jason/PMR
