Up for auction we have Vintage Carvin LB-50 Bass. This is one solid built bass guitar. This is not a flimsy bass as some of their other models have known to be. It’s strange these never took off. It got a masterful design and build. Almost feels like Gibson Ripper bass. Full scale. Brass nut. Badass bridge (clone). Neck through, solid player. Solid rock tone. A beast. Think Kiss, Alice Cooper, The Who and best metal and hard rock bass tones.
Overall the bass is great shape but does have a few issue. All the electronics seem to function when its plugged in however it may needs some rewiring to make it a "stereo" bass as original designed. Only one of the two input jacks seems to be working. Missing its electronics covers and some pick up screws as well. Bass seems to play ok as is but in my opinion could use a set up and new strings. Everything works unless otherwise stated. The guitar has minor superficial dings, scratches, wear and tear around various parts of the guitar. Typical of a guitar of this age. As with any guitar that’s been sitting in storage it going to need new strings and set up. Please consider this when bidding on my items. Its vintage folks and anything this old could need a minor tune up.
