For sale is a 26” Heartbeat Jazz series ride cymbal. Light weight: 2942 grams.
This cymbal has a radial crack about 2.25” from the edge. The visible part of the crack is about 2.5” long. You could try to drill the ends of the crack to see if that will stop it, or you could cut it down to 21”. Despite the crack, it still sounds great.
Heartbeat is a stencil brand whose cymbals are made by Istanbul Mehmet (as Heartbeat’s website say “Our senior partner in Istanbul was trained in his craft by Mikhail Zildjian while hand crafting the famous Turkish K series.” Mehmet Tamdeger was the only guy still alive who had worked under Mikhail Zildjian when Heartbeat wrote that). Heartbeat’s Jazz series is identical to the Mehmet Legend Dry cymbals.
