Gibson SJ-200 Quilt Custom Shop 2015 - Autumn burst

This guitar is a very rare Custom Shop special SJ-200. I have talked to a Gibson employee who said that they only made 20 of these between '15 and '16. The quilted maple back and sides are truly spectacular.

The guitar plays insanely well - the action is truly as low as you can get a guitar without buzzing. It plays smooth and intonated. It's truly an insane guitar. I've gone back and forth on whether to let this go but it just doesn't get used. I currently have another 20 acoustic guitars and for the style of music I record, this is only getting used a bit. It needs to be played.

I've noted as many of the little war wounds as can be photographed. It's in very good shape and has been taken care of. 1 owner before me who gigged with it. Since I got it it has left my smoke-free, climate-controlled studio once to play a round here in Nashville and once to go to my luthier for a check-up. It's been recorded on probably 200 demos and a couple dozen records I've produced. It sounds exactly like an SJ-200 should sound: big, bold, powerful shimmering top end, balanced throughout the sonic spectrum. You will not be disappointed.
