Nice Jazzmaster. Chicago Music Exchange ordered pre-upgraded Fender Player’s Series with Fender Pure Vintage ‘65 pickups and Fender locking tuners. I upgraded the pickguard to gold anodized, and added the missing rhythm circuit.
Sonic Blue (discontinued color) with Olympic White headstock. Cream colored parts. 8 # 4oz, which is great for a JM. Comfy modern C shaped neck, 1.65” nut, 9.5” radius. The wiring now has 1 meg CTS pots, CentralLab oiled caps, Switchcraft switches and jack.
I found the pickups’ middle position redundant with the Rhythm Circuit, so it’s now out-of-phase. Shockingly little wear for a guitar I’ve enjoyed for 3 years, my guitars are prone to buckle rash. One ding on the back I couldn’t get a pic of, under the paint.
