One of a kind overdrive pedal made my Kevin Shaw of Shaw Amplification. This pedal is hand wired and has stood up for some 20 years as one of the early amp-like overdrives. I have never seen another one like this. Great for pushing an amp. Only used in the studio, not for gigging. It's also Nona approved.
Powerful, articulate, warm, and fat. Unlike any of the many overdrives I have. Housed in a bombproof enclosure with it's very own, separately housed 120v AC converter to provide high voltage to the tube (just like an amp). Level, tone, and drive knobs. Shape switch provides several cut profiles to tighten up lows and/or mids. Serviced by Kevin about 3 months ago, so it's ready to rock.
I'm getting on in years, so I am starting to pass on some cherished items that are low use for me, but may be great for you.
Comes with a 12AX7 or you can use a lower gain equivalent if you want less gain.
