Manufactured between 1997 and 2000, this generation features the highly sought-after oval badge from Pearl's legendary Taiwan factory era. This specific drum is the rare Deluxe variant, meaning it came from the factory upgraded with premium TB-50 tube lugs instead of standard bridge lugs. Because the tube lugs only anchor at the top and bottom, the 1mm beaded brass shell vibrates more freely, delivering a warmer, wider, and more resonant tone.
