Mid-1980s Japanese-made Floyd Rose style locking tremolo. Unmarked OEM unit removed from an unknown guitar many years ago. Features six saddles, fine tuners, locking-string saddle design, and large sustain block. Appears complete as shown.
If you're restoring an 80s Japanese superstrat, you already know how hard these period-correct parts can be to find.
Condition? Clean.
Function? Exactly as intended.
Country of origin? Almost certainly Japan.
Model? That's the million-dollar question.
One thing I can tell you: it does not look cheap. The machining on the saddles, the hardened-looking tuner screws, and the substantial block all suggest it came from a decent guitar, not a department-store shredder.
My guess is there's a better-than-even chance it came off a guitar built by one of the major Japanese OEM factories—Matsumoku, Chushin, Fujigen, or Dyna Gakki—between about 1984 and 1989.
