This pedal has been designed to yield a tone similar to Cult of Luna, which it absolutely does. Beyond that, I have found it to be very flexible and capable of a wide range of drive sounds.…plus it looks cool.
The circuit’s topology has stayed the same as the original and incredibly rare ‘The Blues’ made by Gollmer (as used by Cult of Luna). The pedal feels quite amp-like and reminiscent of a cranked Plexi. It's been tweaked to add Body and Tone controls to replace what felt like a lackluster tone stack giving greater functionality and flexibility to help the pedal cut through better in a mix. The circuit was also tweaked for greater overall output to push your amplifier into saturation, This circuit really roars when it's pushing an already dirty amp over the edge.
Overall, this pedal is in excellent condition and includes all original swag, however, it does have velcro applied to the bottom (which I am happy to remove)
