Fender Stratocaster 1972 Refinished Red

Welcome to Vintage Emporium! You're looking at a Fender Stratocaster 1972 Refinished in Red. I would describe it as between Dakota and Fiesta Red. This guitar features a lovely maple neck with jumbo frets. The neck is in my opinion the perfect full C shape. Not super fat like a baseball bat, but chunky enough where it fills out your hand a bit. Everyone knows that bigger necks have bigger tone. The original tuners have been replaced. The original pickups and electronics have been replaced. The original bridge was replaced with a Fender Vintage Style bridge.This guitar was professionally setup with Ernie Ball 10-46 gauge strings. The action is excellent. The truss rod was tested and is working. The frets have been polished. The intonation is spot on. This guitar weighs 7 lbs. 12 oz.

This guitar is in very good condition. The refinish was a solid job and looks fantastic. The red is very vibrant and bold. There are some minor dings in the body and scratches throughout. Fingerboard shows some playwear especially in the cowboy chord position. Finish on the headstock has aged gracefully turning a darker color. Logo is entirely there. Comes in a non-original hardshell black case that is in excellent condition. Serial number 353803
