This circa 1967 Vox Phantom XII V221 12 string electric guitar in black is in virtually unplayed condition. It was part of the collection owner's buyout of Lo Duca Brothers in the 80s when they went out of business. We believe the guitar was returned by a customer and sat in storage for decades. Includes the original case, warranty card, restringing instruction card, Vox polishing cloth, and Vox truss rod wrench pouch.
In terms of condition, the guitar looks unplayed. The frets are in great shape and the string damper is present. The pickguard has shrunk as is common with most Vox guitars from this era. See pictures. The tuner posts are rusty and some of the buttons have pitting. But they work well. The body has no marks and the back pad is in excellent condition. Overall, the guitar plays great and has all the crisp, clear chime one would expect from a Vox 12 string. Jimmy Page played one on Thank You, Living Loving Maid, and Stairway to Heaven!
