This Mattingly has a Spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The scale is 650mm and the nut width is 53mm. High end Rubner tuners complement the overall aesthetic.
The voicing is bold and even up and down the register with thick (but fast responding) trebles and rich, warm basses. It's very easy to play with concert-ready action and setup. Lots of saddle adjustment if needed.
The top has one professionally repaired crack from the bridge to the soundhole. It is visible but not overt.
Robert's guitars are some of the most undervalued, best kept secrets available. This is a super stable, great sounding and playing classical.
