This 2023 Fender American Vintage II ‘61 Stratocaster is finished in stunning 3-Color Sunburst and built to painstaking vintage-correct specifications in Fender’s USA factory. From the slab rosewood fingerboard and clay dot inlays to the Pure Vintage ’61 pickups and gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, every detail has been carefully recreated to deliver an authentic early-’60s Strat experience.

The nitro finish allows the guitar to resonate beautifully and will naturally age and wear over time, developing character unique to its owner. This example already shows honest signs of use including surface scratches, light buckle and handling marks, and several small chips around the body edges as pictured. Nothing affects playability or structural integrity and many players actively seek this type of natural wear on a nitro-finished instrument.

The neck feels superb with the comfortable 1961 “C” profile and vintage-correct 7.25” radius fingerboard, while the trio of Pure Vintage ’61 single coils delivers everything from glassy cleans and bell-like chime to woody blues tones and classic Strat quack.

The guitar remains in good overall condition with only minor fret wear and has been fully checked over in store. It plays beautifully with a comfortable action and all electronics operating exactly as they should.
