Edit: Weight of the body WITH the full trem system, strap buttons, and jack plate is 4 lbs 12 oz. That hardware is around 1 lb (i just threw a bunch of spare parts on the scale)so this is a light body. Fully assembled this guitar was 7 lbs 6 oz.
Edit: I added two pictures of the original guitar just so you can get a sense of what this will look like when your project is complete. I am selling just the body and pictured hardware no pickguard

Alder body (sorted for light weight) in nitrocellulose Faded Dakota Red relic finish.
