”KING SNAKE” is a guitar brand based on the concept of ‘dirty, full acoustic guitar’.

In addition to parallel bracing inside the body, 15mm thick spruce called “Detroit One Block” is applied on the back side of the bridge (width 80mm, length 70mm) to reproduce King Snake's original sustain and attack.

The body top and back are made of 3.5mm thick 3-ply laminated maple/spruce/maple wood, which gives the full acoustic a fast response.

The pickups have been changed from Alnico 2 magnets to Alnico 2 for the front P.U. of the 2PU model “Smith”, increasing the number of turns despite the shorter pickups, giving it the same output as the bridge P.U. of “Smith” and a thicker sound than the front in “Smith”.

It also has a wax-potted design to prevent feedback.

The ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, which seems to reveal the conduit of the wood, allows the player to feel the “sound of the wood” itself, and its light weight is also an attractive feature.

This model is different from KING SNAKE's ES-330 style model, “Smith,” which has a wide range and is all-purpose, and “Swamp,” which has the sound image of 60's blues and R&R, and is perfect for funky Jazz.
