The Gibson Hummingbird is one of the most recognizable acoustics ever made — a square-shoulder dreadnought that's been a staple on stages and in studios since the early 1960s. The Hummingbird Original brings that legacy forward with vintage appointments and modern build quality throughout.

The solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides deliver the warm, full-bodied tone the Hummingbird is known for — rich lows, clear highs, and a natural mid-forward character that works equally well for strumming and fingerpicking. The mahogany neck is comfortable and familiar, and the square-shoulder body shape gives the guitar its distinctive silhouette and tonal balance.

Appointments are classic Hummingbird throughout: double antiqued binding, traditional Hummingbird truss rod cover, bone nut and saddle, and gold Gotoh Keystone tuners. The iconic Hummingbird pickguard graphic ties it all together visually.

Electronics are the L.R. Baggs VTC — a passive under-saddle pickup that keeps the amplified tone clean and natural.
