Ok, so here's a pretty interesting one. I hesitate to use the word "rare" because it gets thrown around Reverb quite a bit, but I haven't seen too many of these before. This is an Epiphone Sheraton II from 1998 that was made in Korea in the Peerless factory. Peerless Epiphones tend to be known for their really high quality for the price and this guitar is no exception. The natural finish looks and feels great, and to my hands isn't anything like the candy-coating of other inexpensive Epiphones. Not sure if that means a lot since I'm the person trying to sell the guitar.

Another really unique thing about this version is the shape leans far more toward the traditional Gibson ES-335 Mickey Mouse ears than the typical Sheraton you see. As a huge ES fan I think this is a plus though maybe some would fine it detracts from the Sheraton's uniqueness.

For a 28 year old guitar I'd say this is in quite great condition. The worst thing to note is the very unfortunate ding in the finish on the headstock. Beyond that it's mostly normal play wear you would expect. Frets look really good, like someone was taking care of them more so than the guitar wasn't being played. There are no issues around any of the joints on the neck; the darkish line toward the right shown in the photos is not a crack or separation of any type as far as I can tell. Under the right light it looks like the factory might have been a little on the sloppy side when it comes to gluing in the fretboard inlays. This was hard to capture in the photos but it is there if you look for it.

The guitar weighs in at 8.3 pounds on my handheld luggage scale. It does not ship with a case or anything other than the guitar itself. Thanks for checking out this listing and reading all of this junk.
