Vintage Horugel short-scale bass guitar believed to be Japanese-made circa late 1960s to early 1970s.
Features:
Original sunburst finish
Dual chrome-covered pickups
Bolt-on neck
Rosewood fingerboard
Vintage Japanese construction
Short-scale design
The bass is fully functional and sounds great. Electronics work properly, though the pots can be a little scratchy and would benefit from cleaning. Action is currently on the high side and the instrument would benefit from a professional setup to suit the next owner's preferences.
Cosmetically, the bass shows normal wear for its age including scratches, dings, finish wear, and hardware oxidation. The neck appears straight and the bass has a great vintage look and vibe.
A cool and increasingly hard-to-find Japanese vintage bass that's ready to play as-is or make an excellent restoration project.
