Up for sale, a 1999 Gibson Custom Shop 1961 Les Paul SG Custom in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This Custom Art & Historic era Gibson offering is faithful to vintage spec, featuring a trio of ‘57 Classic PAF humbuckers and a “Black Beauty”-style aesthetic with a gloss Ebony finish and gold hardware.
The SG Custom’s mahogany construction results in plenty of natural low-mid warmth, with the glassy cut and note attack of the ebony fingerboard. Each pickup selection on the three-way toggle has a unique voice, and everything from throaty neck pickup warmth to aggressive chime and bark in the bridge position, and slinky out-of-phase Bridge/Middle sounds in the middle position. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar and strung with 10-46 strings, this SG Custom is dialed in with low action and accurate intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the gloss Ebony nitro lacquer finish is limited to shallow buckle rash on the back at the bass-side waist and few finish scratches on the top. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
