Build & Design

Lightweight but surprisingly robust, the TD 16 features a molded plastic shell with a chrome-plated grille and streamlined contours. Though it doesn’t have the heft of its all-metal siblings, its durable construction and simple internal architecture have helped it endure over the decades. This unit has been fully refurbished — the capsule has been professionally cleaned, the aging foam replaced, and the output has been updated with an XLR mod to integrate seamlessly with modern setups.
