For sale is a beautiful 1941 Buescher Model 205 True Tone Bb Trumpet, serial number 295225, in outstanding cosmetic and playing condition for its age.
This pre-war American-made instrument features the classic Buescher engraving, original Buescher True Tone hard case, and documentation of a professional overhaul completed by Stemple Music in 2017. The original overhaul invoice will be included with the sale.
Unlike many vintage instruments offered for sale, this trumpet is not being sold as an untested attic find. I have personally played the instrument and found it to be a very enjoyable player with smooth valve action, good response, and the warm tonal character for which vintage Buescher instruments are known. The instrument produces a full, responsive sound and remains a pleasure to play.
The trumpet presents exceptionally well, with strong finish throughout, crisp engraving, smooth valve action, and freely moving slides. The instrument has been carefully maintained and shows only light signs of normal use consistent with its age.
Vintage Buescher trumpets are highly regarded for their rich, colorful sound and unique character that differs from many modern commercial instruments. This example would make an excellent addition for a player seeking a distinctive vintage voice or for a collector of pre-war American brass instruments.

Notes for Vintage Instrument Buyers
This instrument is approximately 84 years old. As with any vintage brass instrument, minor cosmetic imperfections and evidence of age should be expected. The trumpet remains a strong-playing example that has clearly benefited from professional maintenance and careful ownership.
