2011 HONEYBURST GIBSON ES-335 TRADITIONAL PRO

Hello and welcome to my listing. Today’s item up for grabs is a 2011 Gibson ES-335 Traditional Pro in a really cool, Honeyburst finish.

This guitar is 100% stock with no cracks, breaks, repairs or damage.

The only thing to note is that it DOES NOT have the original,pickguard. The pickguard was missing when I purchased the guitar a few years back. I’m sure it is something that cold be easily sourced if someone wanted it back on the guitar. Also, the original strap buttons have been replaced with Ernie Ball Super Locks. I DO NOT have the original strap buttons.

It has a 60’s slim taper neck profile and is loaded with the stock hardware and electronics. The pickups are the original Zebra ‘57 Classic Plus in the bridge and the original Zebra ‘57 Classic in the neck. Both master volume knobs are equipped with pull/push pots to engage independent coil-splitting for each pickup.

‘The frets are in amazing condition and have tons of life in them.

My scale says this guitar weighs in at 8 lbs and 10 oz.

There are a few very minor pick scuffs and a slight circular scratch around the bridge master volume knob. There is some very light playwear here and there but it would be next to impossible to capture in a photograph. I will still give this guitar a solid 9.5/10.

One interesting thing to point out about this guitar is that the back and sides appear to be Walnut or maybe even some sort of (I’m pretty sure it’s Walnut) Rosewood, but it is definitely not Mahogany. It still has the Maple cap and the Mahogany neck, but the wood on the back has some very interesting figuring in it. If anyone can tell me for certain, please feel free to message me.

The Traditional Pro models came with a gloss top, but all back, sides and back of the neck are in a satin finish. It’s actually a very cool feature if you’re not a fan of finished necks.

Original Gibson hardshell case is included-black case with dark Grey interior and Gun Metal Grey shroud. .The case has a few scuffs here and there but is also a 9.5/10. All latches and case ribbon are fully intact. The inside is clean with no offensive stains, odors or discoloration. The silk shroud is fully intact with no damage, fraying, tears or stains.

I DO NOT have any original paperwork, hang tags, warranty cards or accessories as I am selling this guitar exactly as I received it when I purchased several years ago.
