Selling my Tree Audio LC1 500 Series Opto Compressor. Unit is fully functional and in excellent cosmetic condition, always kept in a smoke-free studio environment.
The LC1 is essentially the evolution of the legendary Inward Connections “The Brute,” featuring fully discrete Class A VF600 amplifiers along with custom Cinemag input and output transformers. It delivers a smooth, musical optical compression character that works beautifully on vocals, bass, drums, synths, and mix buss duties.
This compressor has a thick, punchy tone while still remaining open and detailed. The selectable ratios make it far more versatile than many traditional opto compressors.
