2025 Gibson Hummingbird Original (Antique Natural) in excellent shape. Well cared for and loved, always kept in the case when not being played and humidified during the colder months.

Sonically this guitar has a nice balance through the bass and treble range. It has sustain and clarity with a nice blended wooden tone.

Sitka spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle. The frets show no wear. The tuning keys and the truss rod work perfectly.

The guitar was recently set up so the action/ string height is ideal. The neck relief is set to .007. The string height for the low E is set to just slightly over 5/64ths at the 12th fret and the height for the high E is a little over 3/64ths. The bone saddle is tall so the neck angle is in great shape.

Cosmetically it is in excellent shape. There is hardly any signs of use other than some thin pick marks on the pickguard. The hummingbird paint on the pickguard is absolutely perfect. There are no dents, scratches or cracks. The wood grain is lovely and the finish is very clean and shiny. At the bottom right side, the black trim next to the binding has a slight “smear” (see last photo). It came this way from the factory and it never bothered me but I want to mention it.

I swapped out the original LR Baggs pickup for a K&K Pure Mini pickup because I prefer the sound. As a result, the guitar weighs less without the battery and it sounds better with the saddle making better contact.

Includes Lifton vintage style Gibson hard shell case. The original case had a broken latch so under warranty Gibson replaced it with this upgraded Custom case. These cases cost over $300.00.
