Every serious player is on the lookout for *their* Les Paul, and many players agree that the Heritage options are the best of the best. This H-157 dating to 2004 is quite the nice instrument, priced well due to a past headstock break - now well-repaired.
The H-157 builds off of the Gibson Custom LP legacy, built in Kalamazoo Michigan. With a fairly modest flame maple cap and Mahogany body that these guitars are known for, it has a unique and cool look fitting for a custom model - as seen here in the transparent cherry finish, with 7 ply binding, a bound wooden pickguard, and black / gold hardware.

This example comes to us in good condition, ready for its next gig. Cosmetically, the body shows some light surface and buckle wear - the gold slightly pitted on the output jack plate, the pickguard showing light cracks in its wooden veneer. It is equipped with Bare Knuckle pickups that sound fantastic - clean and balanced, sitting well in a mix, to roaring thick and wooly when pushing a fuzz.
The neck has a standard 24.75" scale, 1 11/16" nut. It has a 50's inspired C profile, measuring a medium .85" in depth at the first position tapering up to about .95" at the twelfth. The mahogany profile is in good condition and pretty free from wear - less the unfortunate, but well repaired head stock break. The ebony fingerboard is in good clean shape, the frets & nibs showing no wear. Gold locking Grover tuners functioning just as they should. The action is easy measuring a light 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret (with room for further adjustment at the bridge thumbscrews).
