For sale: a vintage Henri Selmer Paris Mark VI Bb tenor saxophone, serial M 155116, manufactured in 1968 per the published Selmer Paris / SaxPics serial number chart (152,401–162,500 = 1968). This horn lands squarely in the 150,000-range “sweet spot” that working pros and serious collectors actively seek out — late enough to have the refined late-60s Mark VI ergonomics, early enough to deliver the rich, complex Selmer core that made the Mark VI the most recorded saxophone in jazz history.

The horn is in excellent condition with original lacquer, has been recently fully serviced, and ships with a Protec hard case, original matching two-piece neck. I have a couple of vintage Otto Links that I wouldn’t mind letting go of with the horn.
