The 1991 Fender USA Standard Stratocaster featured a solid alder body (some early '90s models used poplar) with the iconic "swimming pool" pickup route. It was equipped with a modern two-point synchronized tremolo, a Bi-Flex truss rod, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and a TBX tone control for expanded versatility.
