This is METROPOLITAIN ST/AQT #1 of 2 from a small custom run of prototype DYNAMIC II models. Fantastic "small batch" build quality for the price point, stunning quilt maple top, super lightweight 6.7lbs, smooth playing neck, excellent sounding PAF-spec'd BergerBucker pickups.
SPECS:
Body
ST "Super Thin" 1.5" body depth, 15" lower body bout width. AAA "Amber Quilt" maple laminate top, choice narrawood back & sides. Fancy multi-ply bindings throughout.
Neck
Satin finish roasted maple neck with SR (Smooth/Round) neck heel attachment. Double-line bound roasted maple fingerboard with big block abalonoid markers and fretboard extension. Full scale (25.5") 24 fret fingerboard, "Vintage C" neck profile 12-14" radius, 43mm (1 11/16") bone nut width, medium gauge (0.38") stainless steel frets. Luminlay side dot markers. Proprietary headstock design offers straighter string pull and a uniquely comfortable open position grip.
Electronics/Hardware
Dual BergerBucker II pickups with split-coil push/pull feature on Volume knob, 2-Point Wilkinson tremolo system, VR 18-1 tuners. Flush Inset rear control plates.
NOS Demo/Near Mint- may have some slight signs of handling and light demo playwear.
