The workhorse!
J-45's are always a crowd favourite and a great example of when Gibson really did just nail it (as they did so often!) upon its release in 1942. The perfect balance of even tone, power and projection. A solid Spruce top paired with a Mahogany back and sides produces and lively and rich tonality that will carry all the way to the back of the room.
Produced primarily for the Japanese market in the 2000s, it features an adjustable bridge for quick action adjustment, gloss black finish with the large white pickguard for that 60s aesthetic and also some aftermarket additions by a previous owner. An unamed blade pickup sits across the soundhole, who built it? We're not sure but it sounds brilliant and provides an accurate representation of the guitars acoustic resonance through the amplifier and it has had a battery compartment installed by the upper shoulder for easy access if caught short at a gig!
It comes complete with our customary two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
