A stunning 1982 Yairi DY 53 "Silver Harp" , available that is in excellent condition. Such a unique burled mahogany that has quite a "3D" effect and along with finely grained white maple binding really grabs the eye...and take a look at the herringbone attention to detail. Sound is full and bold (even punchy picked), very clear, very fast action, No structural/neck issues, very well cared for over the years . Top has really colored into a vintage warmth the last decade and the satin finish does justice to the high quality woods used, she feels like a tank but sounds pure/serene and frankly is a exceptional example of Yairi's build quality at this time. Will come shipped in a upgraded hard shell case, fitting for such an acoustic. Not many of these of course and very few to be seen available in such condition and sound quality. Alvarez silver harp +7 The "Silver Harp" refers to the Alvarez-Yairi DY-53, a highly regarded acoustic guitar handcrafted in Japan by master luthier Kazuo Yairi. Introduced in the 1980s, it is celebrated for its warm tone, loud projection, and unique, ornate woods.
