Ladies and Gentlemen,
Up for sale is a rare 1933 Leedy two-tone wooden train whistle. This is a genuine piece of percussion history, and I have been unable to find another example currently available anywhere online.
Included in the photos is the original 1933 Leedy catalog listing (page 69) for reference and historical context.
Please note: the photos show a split along the wider side panels of the longer chamber of the whistle. Because examples of this model are so scarce, I cannot definitively say how much, if at all, this affects the original tone compared to a mint or New Old Stock example. Online documentation and surviving examples are extremely limited.
An uncommon vintage percussion collectible with great display appeal and historical significance.
This item will be shipped with care and with plenty of protection.
