Gibson Custom Shop / 2015 Model 1960's J-45 EB

Speaking of black guitars from 1960, the 1968 model with an off-catalog color (commonly known as a rare color) is particularly memorable.

Unlike the conventional sunburst and cherry sunburst finishes, this guitar, with its white pickguard, boasts a cool monochrome color scheme.

-Gibson logo pickguard

A major feature is the Gibson logo designed on the thick, large white pickguard.

Many J-45s from around 1968 had this specification, so we believe it was adopted for this instrument as well.

-Touring Rosette

The J-45, which appeared in 1942, had a single ring around the soundhole until 1961, but from 1962 onwards, an additional ring was added.

This is also a characteristic of the 1960s.

This instrument is equipped with an L.R. Baggs LYRIC pickup, making it ideal for live performances and recordings.

-String height at 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side
-The string height can be raised or lowered using the adjustable saddle.
-There are no buzzing or dead spots, and the playing condition is good.
-The electronics are in good working order.
-Gibson certificate of authenticity included.
