NOT your average Artcore!! The ART300 is part of the Ibanez Artcore Solid Body line (not the hollow/semi-hollow Artcore series). Its signature feature is the Caiman textured top, a carved, reptile‑skin‑like finish that came in several colors.
It’s a mahogany body / mahogany set neck guitar with a 24.75" scale, built to feel like a modernized Les Paul alternative.
